Collaborative research projects

We have three collaborative research projects across India dealing with inequities in tribal health under the Closing the gap: health equity research initiative in India. These include:

1. Health inequities in a conflict area: an indepth qualitative study in Assam - Jennifer Liang (Research Advisor, The ANT, Assam)

2. Exploring health inequity by assessing the nature of health care utilization and its correlates among a tribal population of Kerala - Dr.K.Vijayakumar, PI, Health Action by People (HAP), Kerala), Dr.A.K.Jayasree (Co-PI, Professor & Head, Department of Community Medicine, Pariyaram, Kannur, Kerala)

3. Exploring health inequities amongst Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTG) : Case studies of Baiga and Sabarin, Chattisgarh and Jharkhand states of India - Dr.Sulakshana Nandi (PI, Public Health resource Society (PHRS), Chattisgarh)
